P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education
The P.E.O. P.E.O. FOUNDATION
The P.E.O. Foundation is not a project but is a service to the P.E.O. Sisterhood that benefits all of the projects. It's a nonprofit corporation established in 1961 to encourage tax-deductible giving to the educational and charitable projects of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Because it qualifies as a charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, gifts and bequests to the Foundation are deductible for U.S. and state income, estate and gift tax purposes. http://www.peointernational.org/peo-foundation
P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund
Educational Loan Fund(ELF), established in 1907, makes loans available to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. An applicant must be recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. P.E.O. International peace Scholarship
Established in 1949, the International Peace Scholarship Fund is a program which provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate studies in the United States and Canada. P.E.O. Star Scholarship
The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships ($2,500) for exceptional high school senior women to attend an accredited post secondary educational institution in the United States or Canada in the next academic year. http://www.peointernational.org/about-peo-star-scholarship-star
P.E.O. SCHOLAR AWARD
The P.E.O. Scholar Awards program, established in 1991, provides educational awards (currently $15,000) for women of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a doctoral level degree at an accredited college or university. http://www.peointernational.org/about-peo-scholar-awards-psa
