P.E.O. Star Scholarship

The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships ($2,500) for exceptional high school senior women to attend an accredited post secondary educational institution in the United States or Canada in the next academic year.  http://www.peointernational.org/about-peo-star-scholarship-star

The time period for chapters to make online recommendations is September 1 through November 1. After her application is submitted by the chapter, the recommended applicant will have 30 days to complete the online application after receiving an emailed link.

Applicant Eligibility Criteria:

• Exhibits excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success.
• 20 years of age or under at the end of the calendar year
• In the final academic year (senior year) of secondary education at time of application deadline
• Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada
• Plans to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States or Canada full-time or part-time in the fall of the academic year after graduation
• Recommended by a P.E.O. chapter
