Find your inner leader at Cottey. Leadership development is an essential part of Cottey's academic program and that means you'll not only learn the qualities that make a good leader, but you'll be able to practice them in the classroom and out.

Your perspective will go global. The world is a great classroom, and we take that literally. As part of your Cottey education you'll get to explore another corner of the world - Great Britain, Italy, New Zealand, Guatemala…every year we pick a destination or two and the entire second-year class gets to go on the adventure. And we pay for it!

Cottey College was founded in 1884 as a place where young women could put their dreams in motion. In 1927, ownership of Cottey was given to the P.E.O. Sisterhood.  Today Cottey is the only nonsectarian liberal arts college in the country solely owned and supported by women.

Cottey now offers 2-year associate degrees and selected 4-year baccalaureate programs.  Bachelors degrees may be earned in English, environmental studies, international relations and business, and psychology.  In the fall of 2013 Cottey has added liberal arts and business administration with a focus on management to its increasing number of majors.
